Through strategic partnerships with the Department of Defense, veteran organizations, and leading academic institutions, we maintain the world's most extensive collection of military historical materials—over 1.2 million artifacts, 4 million photographs, and 85,000 hours of oral history recordings. Our state-of-the-art conservation laboratories utilize cutting-edge technology to restore and digitize fragile materials, ensuring their accessibility to researchers, educators, and the public worldwide. Each year, we serve more than 250,000 visitors at our flagship facility in Arlington, while our digital archives reach millions globally, fulfilling our commitment to making military history a living, accessible resource for understanding both past conflicts and present-day service.
